That’s why you should always be one step ahead of myself, preparing for people to leave, warning yourself that everyone at one point will be all gone, so that it doesn’t hit you real hard when they do. Preparing for the ones you call friends, even those that you think would never walk away.. because the truth is, in time, people change, relationships will die and things will fade.
I always wonder how things would have turned out...
